fblocalmail is a desktop Java (TM) application that allows you to seamlessly access your Facebook (R) messages from your favourite email client. With fblocalmail you can use your email client to: Retrieve Facebook messages Send Facebook messages Reply to Facebook messages Forward Facebook messages to normal email addresses Send and Cc a single message to Facebook friends and normal email addresses Access your messages online and offline, without logging in to Facebook Use your email client to filter spam and unwanted Facebook messages (notifications to come in a future release) While a license is required to access the full functionality of fblocalmail, an unlicensed version may be used to retrieve messages (you will not be able to send messages).

fblocalmail requires Java (TM) version 1.5 or later.

What features are being planned for later releases? We plan to add the ability to reply to messages while still keeping the message thread active, access to notifications as well as messages, deletion of mesages and noifications, plus other enhancements and bug fixes as necessary.

If I buy now, will I have to pay for later releases? No, all current version releases (i.e. 1.x) will be included as part of the initial purchase price.

The latest version of the software can be downloaded for free by clicking this link. This software may be used unlicensed, but it will only provide limited functionality as described below. fblocalmail comes packaged in a single Java .jar file that you double click to begin the installation procedure. Once installed, view the user guide for setup information.

While a license is required to access the full functionality of fblocalmail, an unlicensed version may be used to retrieve messages (you will not be able to send). A fblocalmail license not only unlocks all functionality, it also will allow you to download and run any major version releases (i.e. 1.x), as they are released, included in the original license purchase price.
